The Beat Breakers is a new after-school b-boy/b-girl workshop program produced by Catharsis and taught by one of the most influential icons of b-boy culture, Ken Swift. It debuts at the Bronx Academy of Letters in NYC this April 2010.
Students must write an essay or submit a video explaining why they should be accepted into the program. 18 students will be selected to participate, and will give a final performance in front of the entire school at the end of the program.
